I chose this hotel for its location, rooms offering a view and the breakfast, and I was not disappointed! My room was clean, my bed was comfortable, and the bathroom offered everything one needs, including a hairdrier upon request. The view from my room was also pretty good. I appreciate the attention given by the friendly staff, and it was helpful having someone helping my park my car. WIFI connection was pretty strong. The breakfast exceeded expectation: other than the usual fare, there were pancakes, chia seeds to go with the cereal, fresh coalhada, crunchy bacon, and Italian soda! A very worthwhile stay.

A legacy hotel in a good location, except for the street the hotel faces which generates a lot of traffic noise up until midnight or so and recommences at about 6 AM. The soundproofing of the rooms is definitely inadequate. The daily breakfast is very good and well served by the staff. Room cleaning staff are excellent. Front desk people are very attentive.

Great location to explore the city by foot. The hotel has valet parking, a delicious breakfast and the restaurant food is amazing. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The best part of the hotel is the staff though, always attentive and friendly. A big thank you to the reception staff and to João from the bar/restaurant.
